The Golden Years

So, I do not fear getting old. But, I do fear my body and mind falling apart. Anyone else afraid of that? I wouldn't even mind living in a nursing home, as long as I still had the ability to play bingo and eat my jello by myself. This fear has just recently surfaced and it's actually been a positive thing... I now have a renewed sense of gratitude for the healthy body and sharp mind I have right now! I am very determined to enjoy every day and cherish each moment with my babies before I blink and they're in college... I don't want to miss ANYTHING!

Hugs

Can you tell I'm crazy about my kids? I love photography (visit www.cliophotography.com to see some of my work) and I love my kids- the perfect combination! They are very good little models- especially Janessa (as you can imagine.) But, it just so happens that she adores her brother so, she doesn't mind posing like this...

Janessa & Jackson's first airplane ride!

Nessa was so excited to fly for the first time! We went downt to New Mexico to visit my mom. They were angels during the hour and a half flight. I couldn't ever ask for better kids. I am so madly in love with them. Life is good!

Survey Question...
Do you think there is a need out there for Emergency Preparedness information for kids? I think kids today don't have a clue about what to do in an emergency. Thoughts?

Check out my singing website at www.jessieclarkfunkmusic.com to hear music clips and see upcoming concerts and events. One that I am most excited about is The Valentine Variety Show at the Rose Wagner Theater downtown SLC February 5th & 6th. Featuring Daniel Beck and myself. Tickets on sale at arttix.org.
It's the perfect date for Valentines!

This is my favorite picture of my hubby and me. He is a good man who makes me laugh and works so hard to provide a great living for us. Ahhhh, I'm making myself all mushy... I think I'll go kiss him right now!

How do I do this?

So, I want this blog to look "cute" like some other blogs I've seen- how do I find ways to add to the look of it? How do I add pictures? How do I get feedback and advice from readers? Man, I have a lot to learn...

Finally getting into blogging...

So, I fully realize that I am way behind the times. I am now venturing into the world of blogging. My plan is to archive all of our family pictures here and to share the wonderful/frustrating/scary/exciting/rewarding world of motherhood and wifeyhood with anyone who wants to listen.
